R is for Ready. Which I'm not.

This was the scene on November 26, 2008.
Brilliant red winterberries blanketed by snow.
Are you ready?

No, I'm definitely not ready. I would like Summer to stick around, though Fall is beautiful.
We don't get snow but I 'm not fond of the dull gray days of Winter.
Pretty picture of the Red berries in the snow.

Gorgeous capture, but NO I'm NOT ready for the cold and snow which they are predicting even here in Seattle within the next 10 days!! Hope they're as mistaken as they usually are with their predictions!! I had enough snow when I lived in Montana to last me a lifetime! Great post for the R Day! Enjoy the rest of your week, stay warm!!

No, not ready yet. I'd like to get through November before I have to consider shoveling my driveway. :)

Oh my goodness! I am NEVER ready for snow! We have so seldom here in the west, but apparently we need to be prepared this year. So I bought new boot - that should keep the snow from coming, don't you think? lol

No! No! No! I am not ready. However, what ever will be will be, so I better soon get ready, it's almost time.

What a beautiful photo. We had a snowstorm during the night, and a power outage this morning. My husband hasn't had his snow tires put on yet, so he's not ready, but I never had mine taken off, so I'm ahead of him!!

We were just talking about the early winter of 2008. It is pouring rain now, damp, dark and miserable. At least snow brightens the landscape.

I am ready for snow and winter and cold! As soon as the heating on my bus is fixed and I can find the inner lining to my coat that is, but then: let's rock this winter!!

Mind you, it will be my luck when we will have the warmest winter on record...

Interesting! This post, and it's question seems to have struck a chord...funny, when I asked it, I was thinking mentally ready, as a Canadian, I have to steel myself for the coming weather, preparing for the cold, the snow, all the extra bulk of winter.(Hats, mitts, boots, scarves, scrapers, snow tires, etc.) Most of you are ready it seems..perhaps if I were more literally prepared, I would be more mentally prepared too! Now, must make an appointment to get snow tires on.;>)

Absolutely not! However, I will deal with it when it arrives.

It seems weird to see snow. Surprisingly, we haven't even had a frost here yet.

The snow on the berries is a beautiful sight, even if you weren't ready for it yet.
