Betwixt and Between and Not Quite Here

The first day of spring was March 21, but Spring isn't  really here yet...not quite.
The sun has a little more work to do with winter remains...

We're so winter weary, that the simplest bit of colour perks us up.
We long for heat, and are ready for it...really ready!

Once juicy, now jaded...winter be gone! We'll wait quietly.

That's almost TOO ready for heat. Be careful what you wish for, Susan!

Love that snow sculpture in the first shot; it looks both primitive and really modern. Spring will be coming your way soon!

I hope your snow is now gone. Ours melted a couple of weeks ago but I am sure we will see a few mor flakes. I like that old painted sign. I have been intrigued by painted bricks lately.

We've had our first real spring days here. Temps in the 60s (that's farenheit) and clear blue skies. Sky as blue as your pic, and our first bright daffodils blooming. Soon it will be there too. Soon.

...I so hear you! We woke to snow this morning....blech. Tomorrow promises to be more spring-like, we hope!

We have no snow, but the past two mornings have been below freezing. Back to long underwear when I am out in the barn. It should not be much longer, before that white stuff disappears.

The snow shot is quite interesting, even if we're all tired of snow! :) It almost has a slight sepia tone to it? Even though we had minimal snow this winter, it seems the sun's warmth has been reticent to hang around for very long. I'm pinning high hopes on tomorrow's forecast... sunny and 61 degrees F. :-)
