Good-bye, Hello

Good-bye, 2009...
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to Heaven, we were all going the other way." ~ Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities.
Hello, 2010...

It's going to be a sunglasses kind of day here
on the shores of the mighty Ottawa River.

Susan, oh so cold and gray and white in Ottawa. Your photo shows it perfectly. Your posts here are beautiful and your commentaries are moving.

Happy New Year! Let's show our best in twenty ten.

..whoa...snow blindness...I hate when that happens. I read a Tale of Two Cities once every couple of years (that and Pride and Prejudice!). Happy New Year!
